These classes are not level specific, and will be taught by Sylvain Anichini, our trainer and behaviorist using Zoom
The classes will focus on the foundation of the sport of Barn Hunt! We will have the opportunity to connect with each other and discuss the technicalities of the rules, the sport and so much more! Come ready with your questions!
Topics will include: the search, the tell, the tunnel commitment and technics, and reading your dog on his or hers specific search style!
When you master this you will become a strong team at Barn Hunt.
If you are a beginner and your dog has never been introduced to rats, this class will give you a good head start for when you will be able to sign up for a on site Barn Hunt Class!
If you have been participating for a while or even competing- its always a good time to reinforce the foundations and strengthen the bond between you and your dog in relation to Barn Hunt!
Most importantly, we want you to have fun, interact with your Barn Hunt friends, and engage with your fur baby!
The best part is : you will not need hay, tubes or rats to do attend! We will show you how you can start OR maintain your Barn Hunt practice with common household items!
Recognizing the ongoing and increased uncertainty that coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing in our area, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our furry companions and their owners and families.
We appreciate the trust that you place in Stonehedge Kennel. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take actions necessary to help keep our two legged and four legged customers safe while providing the services you need most for your furry companions.
As of right now, we are OPEN. We are keeping our regular hours by appointment. We will maintain the excellent and consistent services of day care, overnight boarding, and grooming! We will simply keep the front gate closed and come to pick up your dog “curbside” to comply with safety standards. There will never be more than two people on site at any time. We are currently working out specifics for curbside pick up and delivery to your home! We will update you on that ASAP!
Many of our customers have reached out since they are working from home, with kids home from school, and the cooped up dogs can make for a crowded work space. We are here for you during this time and hope we can make this adjustment easier and keep your dogs happy!
Our nature park will be open for them to play as usual and can offer some great exercise when they may need it most.
We will suspend visits for the time being and all group activities have been suspended until further notice.
We are here for you and will do everything we can to remain open for our loyal customers and anyone else that may find a new need of our services.
Stay healthy and well!
Sylvain and Leila
